Badhero has released exclusive Blues sunglasses to mark this moment

Premium sunglasses firm Badhero is marking Birmingham City FC Women’s league title decider this Sunday with the launch of a limited-edition range of Blues shades exclusively for players and fans.

The Birmingham-based brand is the official match sponsor for the Blues Women’s clash with the visiting London City Lionesses at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead.

Record attendance for Blues Women v London City

More than 7,000 Bluenoses – a club attendance record – have already bought tickets for the fixture.

Victory for Amy Merricks’ side will secure promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League, mirroring the Blues Men’s recent return to the Championship.

“We’ll be roaring the Blues Women on” – Liberty Smith, Badhero

”To celebrate we’ve produced a special range of limited edition sunglasses created exclusively for the team and fans,” said Liberty Smith, MD of Badhero.

“We’ll be roaring the Blues Women on for the win – while looking the part in our exclusive Badhero shades.”

25% of all Blues shades sales going to Blues Foundation

The Blues sunnies will be available for purchase on the day and online at BadHero.com with 25% of all proceeds donated to the Birmingham City FC Foundation, the club’s charitable arm which carries out work supporting disadvantaged people and communities.

“Badhero is about standing out” – Olly Ryan, Badhero

Olly Ryan, Badhero marketing director, added: “This isn’t just a match day – it’s a moment, and we’ve designed something special to mark it.

“Limited edition and big impact, these shades are about style and supporting the community too. Badhero is about standing out. Just like this incredible team. We’re proud to be part of their journey.”

And inevitably, after a week of +20 degrees C and sun where the Badhero shades were much needed, Sod’s Law has kicked in and the forecast for Sunday is 12 degrees C and overcast. British weather. Typical.

Kick-off is at 2.15pm tomorrow. Tickets are still available – click here.
