Blythe Valley Park (BVP) has welcomed a new arrival – independent café Brew Twenty-Three.
The popular local brand has taken a 1,000 sq ft unit in the neighbourhood centre, managed by IM Land, part of Solihull-based developer IM Properties.
Brew Twenty-Three’s expansion comes as IM Land continues to oversee the residential side of BVP, following the sale of the business park to Frasers Property in 2021.
A strong social media presence
Founded by Solihull-born entrepreneur Dayna Winter, Brew Twenty-Three has built a loyal following through its strong social media presence and community-led events, including its standout Hot Girl Running Club.
The café, which serves coffee, juices, smoothies, and food, also offers corporate catering and is hoping to attract customers from across the Park, home to big names like Gymshark and Lounge.
“We’re really excited to be in Blythe Valley and have felt very welcomed by the community,” said Winter.
“The new space provides more indoor and outdoor seating than our Cranmore location, as well as room to host bespoke seasonal events. Being open seven days a week allows us to become a real destination for residents and visitors alike.”
The new café sits next to Your Coop and will soon be joined by another retail tenant, set to be announced later this year.
Once completed, the 8,000 sq ft neighbourhood centre will offer enhanced amenities for the 750 new homes delivered at BVP by Bloor Homes and Crest Nicholson.
Its not just the cafe thriving locally
The neighbourhood centre, designed with a focus on wellbeing and sustainability, includes 48 modern apartments, 36 of which are rented and retained by IM Properties.
It also features green technologies, including renewable energy systems powering communal areas, electric pool cars for short journeys, electric car charging points and cycle storage for up to 40 bikes.
Richard Knight, UK Residential Delivery Director at IM Properties, said: “We’re pleased to support Brew Twenty-Three’s growth and their fresh approach to a healthy, community-focused lifestyle. Brew Twenty-Three is the perfect addition to complete the neighbourhood centre, enhancing the vibrancy of community life at BVP.”
Knight added: “Our vision since 2017 has been to create a scheme that champions wellbeing, community and sustainability. The Gold Accreditation we received from Building with Nature underlines our commitment to creating spaces where both people and wildlife can thrive. Blythe Valley Park has served as a blueprint for our Sustainable Future’s Strategy – and we are proud to see it continue to grow.”
