West Midlands rail users are being warned of timetable changes this weekend.

From Sunday May 18, new departure times will apply on many routes as the twice-yearly rail timetable change takes effect, West Midlands Railway (WMR) said.

Among the changes are an additional service from Shrewsbury to Birmingham Monday to Friday, including a stop at Codsall, along side minor changes to stop times on Brum’s Cross City Line.

Jonny Wiseman, WMR customer experience director, said to rail customers: “It’s always worth checking ahead.”
