Final push for championship titles

Nissan Formula E Team enters the final weekend of the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship with a clear mission – secure the manufacturers’ and teams’ titles to complete a dominant season.

With Oliver Rowland having clinched the Drivers’ World Championship in Berlin, the team is currently second in both remaining standings.

Special livery celebrates UK-made LEAF

To mark the launch of the third-generation Nissan LEAF, built in the UK, the team will race in a unique teal blue version of its cherry blossom livery.

The new LEAF incorporates 15 years of innovation, building on the success of the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle launched in 2010.

Strong track record at Excel

The Excel London circuit has been a happy hunting ground for Nissan. Last season, Rowland surged from ninth on the grid to claim a home victory. Teammate Norman Nato also boasts a solid record in the capital, with points finishes in three of his last four outings at the venue.

Unique circuit demands precision

The 2.09-kilometre track is the only semi-indoor layout on the Formula E calendar, weaving through the exhibition centre and along the Royal Victoria Docks. With overtaking at a premium, qualifying and strategy – particularly the enhanced All-Wheel Drive Attack Mode and Pit Boost – will be critical.

Team prepared to go all in

Team principal Tommaso Volpe said: “We can be aggressive and put our full focus on securing maximum points. The gaps won’t be easy to overturn, but we’re ready to give it our all.”

Free Practice begins Friday at 16:00, with qualifying at 12:20 and racing at 17:00 on both Saturday and Sunday.
