Forty new research analyst jobs will be created at a new life sciences hub in Birmingham.
Cambridge Healthcare Research, the life sciences consultancy, chose Birmingham for its new base at the Lewis Building in the city centre.
This is the company’s first office outside of Cambridge and London, reinforcing the West Midlands’ growing reputation as the UK’s leading hotbed for life sciences – including four medical schools, the Precision Health Tech Accelerator (PHTA) on the Birmingham Health Innovation Campus, and the West Midlands Health Tech Innovation Accelerator (WMTHIA).

Matteo Perucchini, CEO at Cambridge Healthcare Research, said: “Birmingham ticked all our boxes when it came to selecting a location for our first office outside of the traditional life sciences ‘golden triangle’.
