Hotel du Vin Birmingham has been named “boutique hotel of the year” at the Midlands Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards 2025.

Arron Wincott, general manager of the Hotel du Vin Birmingham, accepting the award, said: “Myself and the whole Hotel du Vin team are so chuffed to have won this award, and against some very stiff competition too.

“Moments like this make all the hard work, including all those early mornings and late nights, worth it.

“And rather than sitting back and relaxing, it makes us even more determined to maintain current levels of service and improve on them as we continue to build a brand that our customers love.”

Hotel du Vin Birmingham, on Church Street in the Colmore business district, caters for leisure customers visiting the city as well as business clientele using its extensive banqueting, conferencing and networking facilities.

With an impressive menu of French food, a cellar of hand-selected wines and homely lounge and bar areas, all managed by a knowledgeable and friendly staff, it’s easy to see what the award judges saw in Hotel du Vin Birmingham.

The Midlands Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards took place at Eastside Rooms in Birmingham on Monday this week.
