A Birmingham recruitment company has been given a major jolt – with a new name, new boss and booming business.
Consult Energy UK has officially rebranded to VIQU Energy after being snapped up last year by Brum’s growing recruitment powerhouse, the VIQU Group.
And bosses reckon the name change is just the start of a power surge for the firm’s future.
Green jobs boom
Now operating out of swanky Edgbaston Village, VIQU Energy is ramping up recruitment in the energy, utilities and renewables sectors – and its team has already doubled contractor hires in the UK’s booming green jobs market.
They’ll sit under the same roof as tech specialists VIQU IT, giving both firms a better chance to cross-sell and dominate their industries.
Familiar faces, fresh start
The move hasn’t changed the core team – but it has shaken up the leadership. Joseph Hewitt, a long-time manager, has bagged a promotion to Director and shareholder as part of the shake-up.
“It’s been an exciting 9 months,” said Joseph. “The rebrand is bang on for where we’re heading – and we’ve got the backing of the whole VIQU Group behind us now.”
Powering up the group
Formed in 2024, the VIQU Group now runs four businesses – VIQU IT, VIQU Energy, Morela and MoveATech – each plugged into a different sector.
Group boss Matt Collingwood said: “The teams share the same energy and ambition – and we’re already seeing great results.”
