International humanitarian organisation takes unit in Hockley estate

Human Appeal, the international humanitarian charity, has taken new space at Park Trading Estate in Hockley, Birmingham, in a deal brought together by FHP Property Consultants.

The charity, which operates in vulnerable communities across the world, provides aid including food, clean water, medical support and emergency disaster relief, as well as long-term development programmes such as orphan sponsorship, water well construction and livelihood projects.

Caine Gilchrist, associate director in FHP’s Birmingham office, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome such a respected organisation to Park Trading Estate.

“Human Appeal carry out incredibly important work both locally and internationally, and we’re delighted to see them secure space on the estate to support their continued operations.”

Growing demand

The deal marks the third transaction completed at the Northern Trust Properties-owned estate within the past six months, leaving just one unit still available.

Park Trading Estate has proven particularly popular with growing SMEs and organisations seeking well-located industrial accommodation within Birmingham, with demand remaining strong across the site.

Human Appeal, founded in 1991, operates regardless of race, religion or nationality and has built a global presence responding to humanitarian crises and supporting long-term community development.
