Shaun Adams brings decades of senior leadership across multiple sectors to Midlands consultancy
Midlands-based public affairs and PR consultancy Walk Through Walls has appointed Shaun Adams as an associate partner, specialising in business structure, growth strategy and turnarounds.
Adams brings decades of senior leadership experience across the private, public and third sectors, with a track record spanning production, automotive, engineering, scientific manufacturing, construction and education.
Proven record of turning around loss-making businesses
Most recently, he served as contract managing director at Qualplast (1991) Ltd, leading a turnaround of the loss-making manufacturer through modernised operations and new working practices.
Between 2012 and 2025, he owned and led Birmingham Case Makers Ltd, converting substantial losses into sustained profitability before selling the business. He has also overseen major workforce and business development programmes, including multi-year government-funded contracts worth up to £270 million.

Adams joins after former City Council leader Ian Ward and ex-MP David Kidney
Gary Sambrook, managing partner, said: “Shaun’s experience of turning round businesses is unrivalled. We help our clients navigate the political world and build their reputations, but that counts for nothing if they don’t grow the bottom line. That’s where Shaun comes in.”
Adams joins recent appointees Ian Ward, former Birmingham City Council leader, and David Kidney, former MP for Stafford, both of whom joined as associate partners specialising in life sciences and planning policy.

Professor Paul Cadman, executive chairman of Walk Through Walls and Group CEO of the One Thousand Trades Group, added: “Shaun’s track record tells you all you need to know about his ability to drive growth and fix structural problems. We’re delighted to have him on the team.
“At the OTTG, we offer services including marketing, recruitment, events and PR, working with clients across the UK to support business growth and unlock potential. It’s an exciting time to be joining a growing organisation with such a strong reputation.”
