Local franchisee invests in improved customer experience at Three Counties Retail Park restaurant

McDonald’s in Malvern has reopened following a significant redesign at its Three Counties Retail Park location.

Local franchisee Sarah McLean is promising a better experience for customers and staff.

The reimaging programme combines a new restaurant layout with the latest technology, responding to growing consumer demand for greater speed, efficiency and choice when ordering.

Key changes include the removal of the front counter and the creation of dedicated areas for different ordering methods, including the McDonald’s app and other digital sales channels.

“I’m proud to reinvest in our Malvern restaurant and I’m excited for customers to see the updates,” said McLean, who owns and operates 27 McDonald’s restaurants across the West Midlands.

“I’m confident the changes will not only benefit our customers but also our restaurant team, as these will help make their jobs a little easier.”

Improvements for staff too

The redesign extends beyond the customer-facing areas. The crew room has been fully refurbished to provide a more relaxing and comfortable space for staff during breaks.

While walk-in ordering remains central to the experience, the revamped kitchen and dining areas have been reconfigured to better integrate digital sales channels and make smarter use of internal space, giving diners more room to enjoy their meals.
