Small businesses across Bromsgrove and the Villages can now put themselves forward for the third annual Small Business Awards run by local MP Bradley Thomas.
Bradley Thomas MP has launched the third year of his Bromsgrove and the Villages Small Business Awards, with nominations opening today (Monday 5 October).
The awards celebrate the contribution small businesses make to the local economy and community, with residents voting for their favourite in the run up to Small Business Saturday on 5 December.
Small businesses in the constituency can nominate themselves for the public vote at www.bradleythomas.org.uk/small-business-awards-2026. Nominations close on Thursday 29 October, after which residents will be able to cast their votes. The winners will be revealed ahead of Small Business Saturday.
Last year, 30 local small businesses took part. Casa Med, a family-run Mediterranean tapas restaurant in Bromsgrove town centre, received the most votes and was named the winner for the second year running.
A Touch of Beauty, a professional beauty salon in Bromsgrove, came second, while Bremi’s, an independent coffee shop and bar in Aston Fields, finished third for the second consecutive year.
Bradley said: “Unlike this Government, Bromsgrove and the Villages is on the side of our small businesses, and for a third year in a row we’re celebrating the enormous contribution they make to our economy and to our communities.
“I’m therefore once again encouraging small businesses across our constituency to put themselves forward for the public vote to be in with a chance of winning a Small Business Award.
“I’m looking forward to receiving your nominations and to celebrating our small businesses.”
