Five firms back Life Sciences Week

Five major firms have become official partners of West Midlands Life Sciences Week.

Legal services firm Talbots Law, IT company Intercity Technology, barristers St Philips Chambers, outdoor digital advertiser Elonex and personal protective equipment supplier Beeswift have signed up as partners of the multi-event celebration from September 15 to 19.

At a series of gatherings across the five days, Life Sciences Week is bringing together leaders in biotech, medtech, academia and business to “shape a better future for this generation and the next” as this multi-billion-pound sector cements its UK epicentre in Birmingham and the West Midlands. 

The fourfold focus of Life Sciences Week is:

  • Pharmaceutical & biotech: drug discovery, novel therapies, global research.
  • Medical technology & diagnostics: tools, devices, diagnostics, clinical practice.
  • Academic institutions: university research shared with the private sector.
  • Investors: emerging ventures and opening doors to capital and scaling opportunities.
