Staht, the specialist testing business based in Stourbridge, has secured its largest ever distribution agreement.

The firm has joined forces with Leach’s, a global provider of scaffolding safety solutions, to improve routes to market for products, including its new digital pull testing and proof loading technology.

This comes after Staht’s t25 Digital Pull Tester was named Product of the Year 2025 at the recent NASC Scaffolding Excellence Awards in Manchester.

“This award is a milestone for the team and our customers,” said Staht boss Rob Hirst.

The technology brings safety standards into the 21st century and negates the need for paper logging, making tie testing faster, clearer and better documented.

Safer and more efficient

This means “safer scaffolds, fewer revisits and immediate proof of compliance on every job,” added Hirst.

“With every test automatically logged and tamper-proof, scaffolding operators can show clear evidence of safety and professionalism.”

David Bezant, marketing manager at Leach’s, said: “The feedback we have had already is fantastic and it’s a true testament to the hard work Rob and the team have put in to create world-class, industry-leading products.”

With this agreement, Staht is on course to pass the £1m barrier in 2026 and has increased its team to six people, including a new marketing specialist to engage with potential clients.
