Black Country man Lee Shaw has launched WeightPilot GLP-1 Tracker, an app inspired by his own weight-loss journey after going from 25 stone 12lb to 20 stone 3lb — a loss of 5 stone 9lb.
Lee created WeightPilot GLP-1 Tracker after starting Mounjaro and experiencing first-hand the challenges of keeping track of weight loss, injections, symptoms and progress while using GLP-1 medication.
What began as an idea inspired by his own experience has now become an Android app available on Google Play.
WeightPilot GLP-1 Tracker has been designed specifically to support people using GLP-1 medications such as Mounjaro, Wegovy and Ozempic. Features include weight and waist tracking, injection logging and site rotation, symptom tracking, progress photos, recipes, meal planning, shopping lists, barcode scanning and an AI coach.
Lee’s story recently attracted the attention of BBC WM, where he was invited into the studio to speak to presenter Trish Adudu about his weight-loss journey and why he created WeightPilot GLP-1 Tracker.
Lee said: “I know what it’s like to be at the beginning of this journey and wonder whether things are ever going to change. I was 25 stone 12lb and I’m now 20 stone 3lb.
“WeightPilot GLP-1 Tracker came from my own experience. I wanted something that brought the things I needed together in one place and was specifically designed around a GLP-1 journey.
“If the app helps even a handful of people stay motivated and see the progress they’re making, I’ll be happy. If it eventually goes further than that and helps people around the world, that would be incredible.”
WeightPilot GLP-1 Tracker offers a seven-day free trial of its premium features and can also be used for free without subscribing. Premium access is £6.99 per month or £59.99 per year.
WeightPilot GLP-1 Tracker is available now on Google Play.
