City’s month-long culinary celebration at 29 venues with more to be announced

Birmingham Restaurant Festival will return for its fifth consecutive year this August with a roster of 29 restaurants so far confirmed for the month-long celebration of the city’s culinary scene.

Running throughout August, the festival gives diners access to exclusive menus at reduced prices across Birmingham and its outlying suburbs, with reservations opening on June 18.

Star attractions

The Wilderness, which recently won a Michelin star, will feature alongside long-standing Michelin holder Adams, which has had a star for 12 years.

Sicilian newcomer Vieni, which opened at The Goodsyard earlier this year, also joins the line-up for the first time.

Three restaurants voted best by festival-goers in 2025 are returning, including Digbeth’s 670 Grams, contemporary steakhouse Cow & Sow and Adams.

New for 2026

Organisers have also launched Birmingham Food Tours, a year-round initiative beginning with A Taste of Birmingham, a four-hour guided experience covering the Jewellery Quarter and city centre, for at £99 per person.

Alex Nicholson-Evans, founder and director of Living For The Weekend, which organises the festival, said: “It’s incredible to see so many fantastic restaurants lined up to take part already, all coming together to showcase the very best of our city’s diverse culinary scene.

“Our first tour is such a fun way to spend the afternoon and discover the city’s culinary heritage.”
