Bradley Thomas MP and a group of work experience students recently took to the streets of Bromsgrove to rid them of litter.
The students and Bradley donned their high-vis, grabbed their black bags and litter picker sticks and headed to Bromsgrove Cemetery where they collected bags of rubbish.
The local MP has also praised Keep Bromsgrove Beautiful – a community group set-up to rid Bromsgrove District of litter through their monthly litter picks.
Bradley said: “Litter louts need to get in the bin.
“There’s no excuse for dropping litter. It’s blighting our communities, but we can all do something to tackle it. That’s why the work experience students and I took to the streets to do our small bit in the fight back against litter.
“Thank you to the Keep Bromsgrove Beautiful community group who work all year round to look after our local environment and to change people’s habits and behaviour.
“Let’s restore pride in where we live and take littering more seriously.”
