Bradley Thomas is asking residents for wintry photos of the constituency to feature on the front of this year’s card.

Bromsgrove’s Conservative MP, Bradley Thomas, is running his Christmas card design competition again, with a twist this year: he is looking for a photograph.

The winning image will appear on the front of the Christmas cards Mr Thomas sends to councillors, business leaders, community groups and local residents.

He wants a photo of a wintry scene in Bromsgrove and the Villages, such as snow on the rolling Clent Hills or a robin escaping the winter frost. Mr Thomas said the theme is intended to show off the beauty of the area. He says its countryside and rural identity are under threat from the Government’s plans to build over the green belt.

Mr Thomas said: “With less than 100 days to go until Christmas, it’s that time of year where I need to find a design for my Christmas cards.

“This year, with the Government planning to build over our countryside and erode our identity, I want to put the beauty of Bromsgrove and the Villages on full display, so I’m looking for a photo of a wintry scene somewhere in our stunning constituency to put on the front of my Christmas card.

“If you think you have the perfect photo to be this year’s Christmas card design, then please send it in before the competition closing date. I look forward to receiving your entries.”

How to enter

The competition is open only to residents of Bromsgrove and the Villages, and the photo must show a wintry scene somewhere in the constituency.

Entries should be emailed to bradley.thomas.mp@parliament.uk and must include the entrant’s name, address and the location where the photo was taken.

The closing date is 5.30pm on Friday 16 October. Entries received after the deadline will not be considered.
