Cow & Sow has announced its starting the Christmas celebrations early, with the launch of a brand new festive sharing menu and bookings now open for November and December.

The restaurant’s best value festive menu to date will mean parties of over 4 can indulge in 3 courses served family-style, from just £55 per person. The menu features a loaded sharing board, mouthwatering cuts of English Wagyu, Chateaubriand or Tomahawk steaks and a choice of two new indulgent desserts to finish.

The Cow & Sow festive set menu begins with a stand-out sharing board, loaded with maple-glazed brisket, pork, sage and onion croquettes, pigs in blankets, black garlic and truffle mushroom tartlets, sticky pork belly and marinated olives.

To follow, guests can choose from a selection of sharing cuts of grass-fed beef sourced from local family farms, cooked over fire and basted to perfection. Cuts of Angus beef include picancha, chateaubriand, or bone-in Tomahawk and Porterhouse, or for extra indulgence, guests can upgrade to Cow & Sow’s signature English Wagyu.

All steaks will be served with sharing sauces, butters and sides of koffman’s chips, fire-roasted hispi cabbage, mac and cheese as well as the iconic crispy onion blossom.

To round off the meal, Cow & Sow is introducing two brand new decadent desserts; sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel sauce and clotted cream, and winter berry pavlova with vanilla chantilly and cinnamon.

Set menu prices are based on the cut of steak chosen, with prices ranging from £55 – £79 per person.

There is also a vegan set menu available, meaning nobody needs to miss out on the celebrations. The courses include Pearl barley risotto with pear and walnut, Salt baked beetroot pithivier with kitchen farm greens and sticky toffee pudding, with three courses available for just £40 per person.

For those that would prefer not to share, the regular day to night menu will also be available, with a festive spruce up. To continue the spontaneous celebrations, no pre-orders are required for parties of up to 12 people, so diners don’t have to remember what they ordered weeks in advance.

Mark Warburton, founder of Cow and Sow, says “We know it’s a little early to be talking about the big C word, however, it’s arguably the perfect time to get your Christmas plans in order. Personally, I like to enjoy the season with minimal fuss, which is why we’ve made organising festive gatherings at Cow & Sow as easy as possible, without the need for pre-orders. There’s no need for people to guess what they fancy eating weeks in advance!

“This year our new English Wagyu is on the menu, as well as lots of produce from our Cow & Sow Kitchen Farm. We’re going all out on the celebrations but have tried to keep the experience as affordable as possible with our best value festive menu to date. We would love for as many people as possible to join us!”
