Partou Wonder Years Nursery and pre-school in Coventry is celebrating the completion of a major refurb with an open week launched by the Lord Mayor of Coventry Rachel Lancaster.
The nursery opened in 2004
Starting out as a neighbourhood nursery with five classrooms over two decades ago, the nursery has been refurbished and expanded into a facility with double the capacity, seven classrooms and even an outdoor garden.
A merger between Just Childcare and All About Children meant the nursery became the first UK nursery to become part of Partou, the Netherlands-based childcare company.
A £85,000 investment
The redevelopment includes a complete redecoration, roof repairs and the creation of a more open space with the removal of partitions.
Tracy Simpson, the manager of the nursery, said: “The place looks fantastic.”
Opened with honour
The Lord Mayor of Coventry called the project “impressive” as she cut the ribbon.
