David and Sonia Mouzer expect a letter from the King
Wedding anniversaries are commonplace – but not the diamond variety.
Which is why WM News is running this remarkable story about David and Sonia Mouzer preparing to celebrate 60 years of marriage on March 19 – a milestone they expect to be marked by a congratulatory letter from His Majesty The King.
“We feel incredibly blessed to have spent 60 wonderful years together in Solihull,” they said.
“We’ve been privileged to give back to a community that has given us so much.”
Servants of the community
The couple, aged 84 and 81, have spent their entire married life serving their local community in Solihull, including 22 years’ active service in the Solihull Lions raising charitable funds.
As well as 38 years working for Jaguar Land Rover, David has served 50 years on the local British Legion committee, including 35 on the committee, seven as Chairman and four as President.
