West Midlands promoters behind LAB11, DNB Collective and Rock n Rolla bring Off Grid to Sutton Coldfield this August bank holiday

A new electronic music festival built around a screen-free ethos is set to launch in a Warwickshire woodland this summer, inviting festival-goers to switch off from digital life and connect with music in the moment.

Off Grid takes place on August 30, 2026, across a secluded forested site just outside the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, easily accessible from Birmingham, Tamworth and Lichfield.

Created by the teams behind LAB11, DNB Collective and Rock n Rolla, the day-long event will feature 11 hours of live sets from leading house and garage artists across multiple stages, alongside independent food traders, bars and wellness offers from across the region.

Headliners include Birmingham-born DJ and producer Hannah Wants, who will perform a back-to-back set with US producer Todd Edwards, known for his work with Daft Punk and his influence on the UK garage sound.

Jack Young, co-director of Off Grid and promoter behind DNB Collective, said: “With years of incredible creativity around electronic music, Birmingham and the West Midlands has long deserved a festival that is based on our collective love of the culture.

“We’re not just putting on another festival. We’re creating an experience that brings together the energy and escapism of Ibiza with the mystery and beauty of a hidden woodland setting.”

A vision years in the making

Fellow co-director Alex Schmitz, founder of club brand Rock n Rolla, said: “From the moment I first set foot in this space, I knew it was something special.

“A hidden gem that feels worlds away, yet is right on our doorstep, creating the perfect atmosphere for music to truly come alive.”

The inaugural edition will create jobs and opportunities for local businesses across the music, hospitality and night-time economy supply chain. Further artist and programme announcements are expected, and early release tickets are available now.
