Pure Padel to open club in January

Birmingham is set to get its first padel club in January.

Pure Padel is launching its first Birmingham club, which is being based at Moseley Cricket Club (which, by quirk of geography, lies in the borough of Solihull despite Moseley being an area of Birmingham).

For those who don’t know, Padel is a fast-paced addictive racquet sport, a blend of tennis and squash that is growing in popularity, particularly in the North West where it was born.

From January 2026 it will be available for new players and a new community in Britain’s second city.

Pure Padel has clubs in Manchester, Alderley Park, Stockport and Darlington, and is now adding its first indoor club in the Birmingham area.

With over 24,000 unique players and 2,600 weekly games already across its network, Pure Padel says it is on track to become the UK’s No.1 padel operator.
