National agreement pairs Lift College’s cancel-anytime online study model with the UK’s largest network of private-candidate exam centres.
Lift College, the online college for GCSE and A Level learners, has signed a national examination partnership with Tutors & Exams, the family-owned specialist that operates ten dedicated examination centres across England.
From last Friday, every Lift College GCSE and A Level learner can study entirely online and then sit their written exams in person at a Tutors & Exams centre, with entry, venue and invigilation arranged through the partnership. Learners sit the same AQA and Pearson exams and receive the same certificates as students in schools and colleges.
Finding a centre that will accept a private candidate has long been the hardest part of studying GCSEs and A Levels outside school. This agreement removes that barrier: learners know from day one exactly where they will sit their exam.
A different way to study

Lift College learners can sit their exams at any Tutors & Exams centre in Birmingham, Bolton, Coventry, Doncaster, High Wycombe, Mitcham, Newcastle, Romford, St Neots or Taunton.
