Talbots Law wins coveted prize for second year running
Talbots Law has been named “Conveyancing Firm of the Year for the Midlands and Wales.”
The firm received the accolade at the British Conveyancing Awards 2026 in Manchester.
The employee-owned firm, one of the largest property law providers in the Midlands region, supports more than 40,000 people each year with buying and selling homes across England and Wales.
Back-to-back success
The win marks the second consecutive year Talbots Law has claimed the regional title. The firm was also shortlisted for the national New Build Conveyancing Team of the Year award.
Chief executive Dave Hodgetts said: “This is a testament to the quality and dedication of our team, both in our property department and across all of our support functions that make the work possible.
“It is a privilege to see their dedication rewarded on the national stage and I’d like to say a huge well done to each and every one of them.”
A firm-wide effort
Talbots Law said the accolade reflects collective effort across the business, with successful property transactions depending on collaboration between legal teams, support functions and a culture centred on client care and efficiency.
Technology in focus
The firm was also shortlisted in the Collaboration of the Year category for its work with legal technology company Orbital, which uses artificial intelligence to review leases and generate clear insights for legal professionals, helping to streamline the conveyancing process.
