Chargepoint operator launches its largest hub, offering a free charging week for shoppers

Electric vehicle chargepoint operator RAW Charging is unveiling a new ultra-rapid charging hub at Leamington Shopping Park.

The move is part of RAW’s nationwide rollout across the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations.

The 17-bay hub, which includes six AC fast-charging bays and 11 ultra-rapid DC bays capable of delivering up to 150kW, is the largest EV charging facility in the Leamington area.

Drivers can top up while visiting retailers including M&S, TK Maxx, JD and The Range or grabbing a bite at outlets such as Greggs and Subway.

Free charging to mark the launch

To celebrate the opening, RAW Charging is offering a week of free charging to all shoppers through its RAW Rewards scheme between April 20 and 26 April.

Jason Simpson, chief executive of RAW Charging, said: “This hub delivers the speed, reliability and convenience drivers expect at one of the region’s most popular destinations.

“We’re helping accelerate the UK’s transition to zero-emission travel.”

One in three new vehicles sold in the UK is now electric or hybrid, RAW said.

RAW Charging, which won the Zapmap Best Destination Network Award for 2026 and holds ICC Gold accreditation, said demand for high-speed charging at high-footfall locations continued to grow rapidly.
