A football-inspired fundraiser at Pertemps has helped score vital funds for two charities supporting children and families across the UK.
The West Midlands-based recruitment specialist hosted its first-ever Pertemps Penalty Shoot-Out, bringing colleagues from across the business together for an afternoon of friendly competition, teamwork and fundraising.
Teams representing departments across head office battled it out from the penalty spot, with Temp Payroll crowned champions after securing victory in the competition.
Their win earned a £500 donation to their chosen charity, The Teddy Rose Foundation, which provides emotional, practical and financial support to families following the loss of a baby during pregnancy, birth or infancy.
IT finished as runners up, securing a £250 donation for their chosen charity, the National Deaf Children’s Society.
The charity supports deaf children, young people and their families by providing expert advice, campaigning for equal opportunities and helping children reach their full potential.
The event formed part of Pertemps’ ongoing commitment to supporting charitable causes and creating opportunities for colleagues to make a positive difference in the communities they serve.
Alongside the competition, colleagues enjoyed a summer barbecue, refreshments and the chance to spend time together away from their desks, celebrating teamwork and the company’s charitable spirit.
