One of Britain’s most beloved toy brands is marking a major milestone this summer, and everyone is invited. CORGI, the iconic die-cast model maker, is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2026 with a special exhibition on Friday 7th August, in partnership with Coventry Transport Museum, and entry is completely free for all guests.
The one-day showcase brings together iconic models spanning seven decades, celebrating the pieces that defined their eras while offering visitors a first look at exclusive new products. Whether you’re a lifelong collector, a fan of great British design, or simply curious about a brand that has been a fixture in British homes since 1956, there is something for all the family to enjoy.
With summer holidays in full swing, this is the perfect time to get out of the house, away from screens and create a truly special memory as a family.
Coventry Transport Museum provides a fitting backdrop for the occasion. Home to the world’s largest collection of British road transport in public ownership and sitting in the heart of Coventry city centre, it reflects the rich heritage that CORGI has been part of for seven decades.
CORGI: 70 Years of Making Memories takes place on Friday 7 August 2026, 10am-4pm and is open to all. Places are limited, so guests are asked to bring their invitation to the front desk to secure their free entry to the museum and exhibition.
