A couple from Stoke-on-Trent are celebrating after winning £1,000,000 in the Lotto Guaranteed Millionaire Raffle from The National Lottery draw on Saturday 4 July 2026.
The special draw held on Saturday 4 July meant that a unique Millionaire Raffle code was added to every Lotto ticket and 10 lucky ticket holders who had a matching code won £1M.The couple have always played Lotto with one dream in mind – creating the possibility of winning enough to enjoy an earlier retirement in the sunshine. Now, thanks to their life-changing win, that dream is much closer to becoming a reality.
Their immediate plans include completing their home exactly as they have always wanted before turning their attention to the retirement adventures they have spent years planning together.
Speaking about the win, the couple said: “Winning £1M has taken an enormous weight from our shoulders. Knowing we’re financially secure means we can truly enjoy life, fulfil our dreams and have the adventures we’ve always talked about.
