UK’s largest independent engineering surveying business has relocated from Ipswich to Solihull’s Trinity Park

Survey Solutions has moved its head office to Trinity Park in Solihull, near Birmingham International train station and BHX airport, in a move supporting its national expansion ambitions.

The move from Ipswich positions the company at a centralised hub from which it aims to grow its customer base: major UK contractors, commercial and residential developers, engineering consultants and specialist contractors across the rail, heritage and utility sectors.

Fostering teamwork and creativity

The new open-plan workspace brings head office staff into daily contact with colleagues from surveying and operational teams, a setup the business says will drive creativity, improve communication and raise levels of customer service and support.

David Lowe, CEO of Survey Solutions, said: “Moving our head office to Birmingham delivers a range of benefits for the company, our people and our clients.

“The centralised nature of the location allows us to target growth right across the UK and be more agile in terms of the regions we’re looking to expand in, while it also helps us foster a more connected, community-oriented environment internally. Ultimately, these factors will help us deliver even better results for our clients.”

The Birmingham relocation follows recent openings in Milton Keynes and the Thames Valley region, and a move to larger premises in Glasgow to support Scottish growth.

Survey Solutions employs more than 250 people across 16 UK offices, offering services including land, underground, drone, measured building and hydrographic surveying, alongside monitoring and site engineering.
