Kendrick Homes invites buyers to explore its Severn Meadows development in Upton upon Severn this Saturday

Worcestershire home hunters are being invited to pull on their wellies this weekend for an early look at a new riverside development focused on outdoor living, green spaces and family life.

Kendrick Homes, one of the UK’s oldest housebuilders, is hosting a Welly Walk at its Severn Meadows scheme in Upton upon Severn today (Saturday), starting at 11am.

The informal event is designed to give prospective buyers the chance to explore the 10-acre site, with wellies recommended to navigate the uneven ground.

The 60-home development offers a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom houses and bungalows, and follows the successful completion of the nearby Saffron Grove scheme. A three-bedroom show home is already open on site.

Affordable routes into home ownership

Adam Cadman, marketing manager at Kendrick Homes, said: “We love throwing open the doors to our new schemes in a way that lets local people get an early look in an informal environment, where they can ask lots of questions and walk where they like.”

Several properties will be available under the Discounted Open Market Value scheme, offering reduced prices to those who live or work locally. Cadman added: “We already know interest is going to be huge in this opportunity.”

Experts will be on hand throughout the walk to discuss available plots, sustainability features and the development’s design.

Light refreshments will be provided and pre-booking is recommended. Visitors will also have the chance to reserve a plot on the day.
